Boiled potatoes gave the name
Schölfelermusik (Boiled Potatoes Band) isn’t a Labara, they remain on the streets, play traditional alpine tunes and do not enter inns. The group is known for its mischievous, often criticised performances. In 1982 for example they blew shredded paper all around and filled the streets with clouds of that waste. Nearly every year tricks like these are part of their show. Their costumes fit the theme of their wagon and are made with much effort. There’s also a Schölfeler Carnival Newspaper with a very professional Layout. The Group is well known for its social activities.
