Description of awards from left to right
- “Österreichisches Museumsgütesiegel” (The Austrian Museums seal of approval), for which museums have to fulfill a variety of criteria – anonymous critics are sometimes sent to review a museum that applied for the seal. The seal is viable for a limited time period and is only renewed if the museum still meets the standards of the current criteria.
- “Museumspreis des Landes Tirol” (The Tyrolean Museum’s award) is given by the government of the state of Tyrol and also requires the fulfillment of certain conditions; nowadays the prize mainly goes to projects.
- The Austrian Ministry of Education granted the Spirit Award in 2007, in lieu of a Culture and Arts project by two local schools (Hauptschule Oberstadt; HAK Imst) and a South Tyrolean school (Mittelschule Tramin).
